Happy Father's Day

We had such a wonderful day yesterday spending time with both sides of the family. We ate lunch with my family and then had supper with Buddy's family. (Well we are all family, but you know what I mean). Lunch was at Granny Ham's. While we were there Tillie took a couple of steps on her on. It won't be long before I am posting her walking. Anyways back to the post. After we left there we went to the state park where we had supper with Nanny and Papaw. They are camping so there were plenty of things for us to get into there. Tillie went on several strolls around the camping lot. Right now in Alabama it is sooo hot. I didn't want Tillie getting into the lake because she has a habit of drinking the water and I don't' want her trying out lake water. So instead of bringing her pool we brought a washtub for her to swim in. She had so much fun playing in it.
After we ate supper we took the left over bread to feed the geese. She was so funny playing with the geese. Check out this video.

Happy Father's Day, Daddy!

This is a long one!!

Ok were to start???? Last week our babysitter was on a much needed vacation so I was able to keep my nephew Jackson. Tillie and Jackson play so well together that this sitting job was very easy. We played in the pool, played with toys, saw some tractors, and took a nap. Here the children are playing. A tractor came down the road!
\Our next adventure last week was our first Vacation Bible School. This was a lot of work but in the end it was so much fun. A friend and I took the babies class because both our daughters were in the class.
Another big adventure that happened last week was that Tillie Ann gave up her bottle. We are now officially on sippy cups. This is the before and after of the cabinet after taking the bottles out.
Before
After
So that is the happenings around here for the last couple of days. It has been so busy and I am glad it is about to slow down hopefully.

Driving the Truck

Yes, you are not seeing things, Tillie Ann is learning to drive. It is never too early to start. (Yes, Mom we were just in the driveway). She thought she was the biggest girl ever. It looks like she needs to watch the road and not me taking pictures.

She is a Fish!

On Saturday we took Tillie Ann a neighbors swimming pool. At home she loves the water. When either one of us are in the shower she screams until you open the curtain and let her play in the water. When she is in her bathtub she splashes and plays until the end. Then she sometimes screams to stay in. Back to the pool. We had bought her a wonderful float at the local baby store that has a canopy over it, but it still allows water to get in the bottom so she can splash. Anyways, we started out by holding her, but she hated that. She couldn't move around. Then we put her in the float and she loved it. She played under the waterfalls and even put her nose in the water. She played so hard she even put her head on the pillow of the float and acted like she was going to sleep..
Checking out the water!
Not liking being held! Under the waterfalls!
Too much of a good thing!
