Christmas Day 2008

In my little mind, I never thought Christmas could be so much fun and exciting until this year. As the day approached Buddy and I started getting more and more anxious. (Notice I said Buddy and I, not Tillie Ann.) We were planning the way to arrange things and when to put things together so she wouldn't find out. (Like she would really know what was going on.) Finally the big night was here and after spending the day putting toys together, baking cookies, and writing notes to Santa, Tillie Ann finally went to bed. Buddy and I put the yummy cookies out, the milk, and the note to Santa, and went to bed. About 6:00 a.m. Buddy rolls over and says "you want to open our gifts from Santa?" I sweetly said. "NO!!!, We will wait on Tillie." The clock ticked on and on and on. Finally, Buddy had taken all he could stand and said lets go wake her up. (Any normal day she would have been up at 5:00.) We woke her up and the fun began. Take a look: Tillie Ann checking out her loot!! Playing in the best toy ever :) After we completed Santa Tillie had way too much excitement and this is what happened: Playing is a hard job. On Tuesday night we had Christmas with BB and Pop I. This was so much fun. Jackson AKA "That boy" was there and wanted to play with all of Tillie's toys even though most of the ones she had he got as well. Tillie loves her green butterfly and her Aunt Adrian and Uncle Clint. This was the first time Clint held Tillie. He was afraid she would break.

Fun Picture Time

Sunday my sister and I took our children to get pictures made with their grandparents and great-grandparents. This was so much fun. There were six adults trying to get a 5 month old and a 1 year old to smile and stay still. Needless to say we all walked out sweating, but in the end we got the sweetest pictures. These are not the pictures that will be sent, but they are some great moments. Next year will be even more fun!!!!!! :) Fun times with the grandparents. The great-grandparents. BB and Tillie Ann having a moment.

I Found My Feet

Tillie Ann has found her wiggly feet and she will not let them go. It takes changing a diaper to a whole new level. She gets mad because she can not get those things in her mouth. I wonder what will we will discover next????? :)

Watch Out We Are Rolling

I didn't realize how exciting it was to see a baby rolling over for the 1st time. WOW! I also never thought I would lay in the floor so much saying "Do it again, come on roll over. I know you have done it 15 times but one more come on." I am finding out a lot about myself as Tillie grows. I always thought you had to go somewhere to have fun, but now I find myself wanting to stay at home and play. Man, how you change when you become a mother. :)
