My greatest memory of love is creating your cute little white bags with the most beautiful hearts. I would also pick out of my crayon box the pinks, reds, and purples to decorate my bag with. In the end I would have the most decorated bag in the classroom. Then it was time to pass out the Valentines. My mom would always order from "Current" magazine my Valentine checks. I thought they were so cool. So now as each Valentines roll around I do the same thing with my classroom kids and hopefully on day with Tillie Ann. As we were getting ready for her party at school, I was telling Tillie Ann (like she was really listening) about what I did as a little girl. I told her that when she got a little older we would do the same. This was the first time we actually had to do Valentine's cards and treats for school. I have to tell you that it was so much fun and I was probably (well I know that I was) more excited that Tillie. We got her friends at school a treat bag filled with surprises and a silly straw. Well, the day was finally here to go to school and have the big party, but it didn't happen because of the snow. Her school was dismissed early, but they should make the party up on Tuesday. So stay tuned for that.
Now on to our Valentine's at home. We woke up and were about to have breakfast and Tillie finally found her valentine.
She absolutely loves books, but loves the Little People books the best. I was in Sam's the other night and found these two books that we didn't have so I thought it would be perfect for her.
She loved them. The picture below is just for her Aunt Adrian. Adrian loves to see her hair like this. It reminds her of me when I was younger. She calls it the "dust bunny look".
Then before church we decided to play nail salon. So Tillie sat so still and watched me paint her nails. She couldn't wait until she see them up close. She showed everyone at church her nails.
So I hope that you had a great day and spent time with the ones you love.
